About Your Visit
Appointments
Please call the office to make an appointment in advance or request one online. If you’re unable to keep your appointment, please call us as far in advance as possible so we may use that time to see another patient in need of care. We make a sincere effort to adhere to our appointment schedule and appreciate your patience if we are late due to emergencies or hospital surgery.
Billing & Insurance
We participate with most local and many national insurance plans. However it is your responsibility to understand whether your insurance has limits on the doctors you can see, or the services you can receive.
If you provide complete and accurate information about your insurance, we will submit claims to your insurance carrier and receive payments for services. Depending on your insurance coverage, you may be responsible for co-payments, co-insurance, or other deductible amounts.
Please contact our billing office or call your insurance carrier should you have questions.
Fees & Payments
We make every effort to provide cost effective medical care. We request payment arrangements for all non covered services, copayments, and deductibles at the time services are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, and Visa for your convenience. If we are a participating provider of your insurance company, we’ll bill them. However, payment is the patient’s responsibility. We’ll help in any way we can to assist you in handling claims.
Prescriptions & Renewals
Please request all prescriptions and authorizations for renewals between 8:30am – 3:00pm, Monday to Friday, when our full records are available. Renewals requested at other times will be filled only for extreme or emergent circumstances.
Emergencies
If an emergency occurs during regular office hours, call our office, and give your message to our clinical coordinator. After office hours your call will be handled by our answering service. A physician is always available or on call. If necessary go directly to the emergency room.
