Dr. J. Todd Smith
J. Todd Smith, MD is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in orthopedic spine surgery. He has over 25 years experience and his practice includes cervical spine, minimally invasive spine, robotic spine surgery. and revision spine surgery. He has served on the advisory board for a National Tissue Bank, has been a faculty advisor to residents and has been a speaker and surgical instructor for spine surgery including minimally invasive techniques.

Malea Robinson
Office Manager
Malea Robinson is a life-long Birmingham native who graduated from Erwin High School. Married with two children, Malea was actually born in the St. Vincent’s hospital in which she now works. Dating back to 2004, Malea has spent her entire professional career with Dr. Smith, and over that time has developed an extensive knowledge of medical workers compensation programs, a specialty of Dr. Smith’s practice. In her role as office manager she manages all aspects of patient care, from admission, to intervention to discharge. In her personal time Malea and her family are active supporters of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, enjoy weekends at the lake, boating and watching SEC football.
